POSTED 7/14/07 SPORTSMAN DRIVER BRIAN CHERRY #22 DISQUALIFIED FRIDAY NIGHT AFTER THE FEATURE RACE

Brian Cherry driver of the #22 Chevy Sportsman car finished third but was disqualified after the race at post inspection for being 20 lbs. too light. That moved sportsman drivers, Kevin Lamastus #21, Robert Cohron #46, Odell Turner #99, Billy Grider #30 and Aaron Yakobovich #69 all up one spot in money, place and points.

IF BOBBY WOULD LOOK LONG ENOUGH HE WOULD FIND MORE WRONG THAN JUST BEING TO LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!

I was at the scale house when the #22 car was weighed. Gary Dalton said he was only 10 pounds lite. They weighed him a couple more times and got a 7 and 8. I also saw Phillip Akin go across the scales and one time he was 50 something pounds too lite and the next time he was right. Seems to me the scales are not getting accurate readings to be that far off. I know that these guys wouldn't come to Beech Bend knowing that their cars are too lite.
