POSTED 5-6-08 A NEW DRIVER WAS SEEN TESTING AT BEECH BEND RACEWAY IN THE #48 SPORTSMAN CAR

Jeremy Head was testing the #48 sportsman car Tuesday at Beech Bend Raceway. The question is will Jeremy be the new driver for the #48 sportsman car? Last race Phillip Akin drove the #48 car which by the way is owned by Johnny Watkins.

Jermey will be driving the 48 only because Anothy decided not drive any more.If we keep loosing drivers how long will racing servive? We don't have enough drivers and cars now. We need to approach how we disciplin drivers and owners.I thank we should look may be having a fine instead of suspension. I don't know if this or any thing else will ever you stop us from loosing it and hitting another car we just snap some times and it's unfortunate but it happens to the best of us.No owner can control there driver when they are on the track they should able to run there car with another driver.

why race somewhere you are not wanted. That what Dallas told Hammerhead friend about the 48 machine in the modified street class. Dallas said, to NOT bring back the green and white car. Because he has a good car count in that class. Well, that goes the same way in all classes. Look at Late Models, Bo Miller wins 18 out of 24 races last year. That class is still strong. I think it is uinfair to tell a driver NOT to bring his car to the races. Hammerhead has worked very hard to get were he is. It took along time to get as good as he is. Hammerhead has done his time so that is not the problem. Dallas NEEDS TO CHANGE THE RULES IN THAT MODIFIED STREET CLASS SO ALL THE CRYBABIES CAN HAVE A CHANCES. They STILL don't have a chances. Because they do not work onthere cars. Hammerhead will be racings at RIVERVIEW OWENED BY BO HALL AND HIS BROTHER. They are thrilled to have Hammerhead to come and race there. The payout is 450.00 to the winner. That told me that he could take the 400 lbs out and race his car. They have a outlaw class it is just like the modified street class at the broking Bend. They said also that NO CRTBABIES will be permitted

i for one do not agree w dallas and his make up the rules as go jones,i understand that something had to be done, but to tell a man that his car is not needed because car count is high,is stupid,i hope that jeremy will do good and that him and paul finish first and second, and by the way i for will no longer visit the broken bend no longer because of the stupid make up your rules, cry babies win racing.

Hi I hope that everyone knows that I am the driver of the 48 and I need to say thanks to Johnny for giving me the chance to drive this car. I came off of dirt racing front runners and jumped at the chance to do this. I regret that it's under the sircumstances because I am a long time friend of HammerHeads I hate what happened, but some times a driver loses his cool. I know there is only so much a driver will take and even the Nascar guys lose there cool. I hope to race the 48 the rest of the year and hope that we can get the handling better than it was fri night, I know with the help of Johnny and the rest of the crew we can get it on track and maybe into victory lane this year.
