POSTED 5-18-10 Wild Street is coming to Beech Bend Raceway Park

** Wild Street is coming to BBRP this Saturday  **
With help from some of our local and not so local racers BBRP has put together a Wild Street race for May 22nd. Listed below is a set of rules that will be used that night as well as other information on the race. This race will be a learning experience that hopefully lead into a race series in the future.  Gates will open 4:00 * Time Trials for Wild Street @ 6:00 & 7:00 * Eliminations 8:00
Wild Street Info.
1. Door cars only * Heads Up * 400 Pro Tree * 1/8 mile * $5 General Admission will be charged at gate * Race Entry of  $100 will be collected in tower before 1st time trial * Total entry fees collected will be paid out as purse Winner  80% * Runner-Up 20%. Wild Street will park and be teched in the oval track area. Pairings will be drawn each round, only one bye run per car during eliminations.
2. Tire size limited to 28 X 10.5 non W slick or 275 X 60 drag radial 28 x 11.5 et street.
3. Power adder is limited to one stage of nitrous on plate or fogger for V-8 engines. If car is equipped with 2nd kit it must be capped off.
4. Cast intake only.
5. Suspension must have stock frame rails they may be notched. No four link or back half cars. Ladder bars and coil overs are allowed, coil can be moved inward for tire clearance. Mini tubs are allowed. No whellie bars.
6. Fiberglass is limited to hood, bumpers, and deck lid. No lexan allowed except for trucks with rear roll bar exit.
7. Must have stock appearing interior with two racing seats.
8. Rear wings allowed.
9. 4 cylinders are allowed turbo and one stage of nitrous * weight with driver 2800
10. 6 cylinders limited to 106mm turbo * weight with driver 3000
11. Small Block N/A - weight with driver 2800 ** Small block NOS - weight with driver 3000 ** Small Block with Turbo up to 88mm - weight with driver 3300 ** Small block with Turbo up to 98mm - weight with driver 3450 ** Small block F1R cars - weight with driver 3200 ** Small block F2 cars - weight with driver 3300 ** Small block with X1 trim - weight with driver 3200.
12. Big block conventional heads - weight with driver 3000 ** Big block nonconventional heads - weight with driver 3200 ** Big block NOS conventional heads - weight with driver 3200 ** Big block NOS nonconventional heads - weight with driver 3400 **Big block with turbo or blower - weight with driver 3550.
13. One carb only on NOS combo's.
14. N/A cars must add 50lbs. for additional carbs.
15. No reducers in the turbo true size only.
These rules are in effect for May 22nd if this becomes a race series these rules are subject to changes.
