BOWLING GREEN, KY.  – Forget the neck tie and sweater gifts this Father’s Day. Instead, treat dad to a weekend of nostalgic drag racing fun at the 8^th annual Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion. Plus, on Sunday, June 20 the first 1,000 people through the Beech Bend Raceway Park gates will receive a free Mattel Hot Wheels souvenir.

“On top of throwing one of Kentucky ’s biggest hot rod events of the year, we are giving away a free Mattel Hot Wheel collectible die-cast car to loyal fans and dads,” said Tony Thacker, executive director of the non-profit Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum , presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California, which produces and benefits from the event.  “It’s a great gift for dads, or a great gift for yourself!”

Make dad proud this year and treat him to an entire weekend of hot rod mayhem and drag strip excitement at the Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion, June 18-20. Festivities include Hot Heads Research & Racing Eliminations nostalgia drag racing, SoffSeal Show ‘N Shine area, the spectacular Cacklefest, swap meet, vendor midway, and tons more.
