BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The legendary Mr. Norm’s Garage will have an extraordinary exhibit on display at the 8th Annual Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion, June 18-20 at Beech Bend Raceway Park . Reunion attendees can also enter to win a new Sox & Martin style Dodge Challenger in a raffle benefitting the Ronnie Sox Foundation.
“This is exciting news. The late-60’s muscle cars from Mr. Norm’s Garage will be a great addition to the Reunion and a special treat for spectators,” said Parks Museum Director Tony Thacker . “In addition, the Ronnie Sox Foundation raffle is a worthy cause and we’re pleased to be helping out.”
Mr. Norm’s Garage cars on display include the following:
  • 1968 Hurst Hemi Under Glass Barracuda, formerly driven by Bob Riggle and now owned by Bill Sefton—one of the most exciting exhibition cars ever.
  • 1968 Sox & Martin Super Stock Hemi ’Cuda. Likewise owned by Bill, this Sox & Martin Hemi Cuda is the first in the new Legacy Series by Mr. Norm's Garage. It is the mirror image of the legendary ’Cuda’s campaigned by Ronnie Sox and Buddy Martin who along with their Chrysler Supercar Performance Clinic duties fielded the most successful and famous of all the Super Stock Hemi ’Cudas in 1968.
  • 1971 Super Stock Dodge Demon. This car is the Mr. Norm’s realization of a stillborn project developed by Chrysler engineer Tom Hoover. The car is built according to the original Direct Connection Special Build memo.
  • Sox & Martin Collectors Series Super Street ’Cuda. This late model Dodge Challenger (pictured) built in the style of an original Sox & Martin race car is being raffled off to benefit the Ronnie Sox Foundation. The Ronnie Sox Foundation was founded in August 2006, by Diane Sox and Buddy Martin in remembrance of Ronnie Sox who passed away from prostate cancer at 67. The Foundation’s mission is to support the children at St. Jude and educate the public on the importance of early detection for this type of cancer. Visit www.ronniesox.com
NOTE: Diane Sox will be on hand to sign autographs and sell raffle tickets for this important cause.
