POSTED 10-29-09 EMAIL FROM RACE FAN

Hey Odell, Just writing to tell you that the 200 lap Late Model race at Highland Rim has been postponed until next weekend, Nov. 7th. The reason being to many big events in the area, and I think rain may be a factor, they will how ever be a regular racing program this Sunday. Hank Belcher

POSTED 6-16-09 THIS IS AN EMAIL FROM DOODLE

First, I would like to say "Thank You" to everyone that was here at home sending support and words of encouragement while I was in Plymouth. It really means a lot to know that I have friends, fans and family supporting me. I would like to give a special thanks to B&R Racer's Supply, Photos by Odell, Jerry's Used Tires and Mufflers and Pro Machine for what each of these people have done for me to help make the trip there possible and for the support in the past years as well. It would be very difficult to do the IOFS without them. A huge "Thanks" goes to my Anger Management Coach, Billy Williams- he has stayed on me very hard to keep my cool and stay level headed to bring home the chassis. Apparently it is helping because I handled the fact that I blew a motor extremely well, lol. Several of my fellow IOFS drivers came through to help me out as well. Butch Winters & Doug Grieg (of Indy) helped me out with some tires. Not to mention the assistance that Jeff Hizer & crew (of Indy) provided. As always, a "Thanks" goes to Charlie Hargraves, Dave Sink and crew for forming the IOFS and giving many drivers the opportunity to experience racing at this level. So far, it has been a blast and an experience that I will remember. Each of the drivers in the IOFS are expectational people, very friendly and fun to race with. I look forward to finishing the season running with these guys! We can't wait until our stop at Beech Bend so the fans can see first hand what I am talking about- RACING ACTION THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS!!!!!! If I have left anyone out, please know that it was not intentional. Please continue to give your support the the IOFS and short track racing in general! Now, I'm off to begin my journey to build a motor before July 3rd's showing in Anderson, IN. Good luck to all racing! Have a safe and victorious season! Doodle

POSTED 5-19-09 EMAIL FROM DRIVER OF THE IOFS

First, I would like to thank everyone that came along to KMS for their support and help. It is really appreciated and I hope everyone gets a chance to attend some of the other IOFS races. As the series moves forward, it will continue to grow and get better and better. A huge thank you and job well done goes out to Charlie Hargraves and his people for putting this series together. Not to mention all that Scott Greer and his staff did in order to get KMS ready for the weekend due to the flood. I got the chance to meet Charlie and several of the other drivers and each of them are outstanding people. I really look forward to racing with them again. I have plans to attend all of the scheduled IOFS races, the next one being June 13th in Plymouth, IN., in hopes of bringing home the Yardarm Chassis that will be given away to the highest finishing stocker in the IOFS points championship. As of now, I am leading those points standings. There are 8 scheduled events left on the IOFS tour with most of those being held at Plymouth and Anderson, IN., two of these 8 races being held back here in the Bluegrass state. I am hoping that some sponsors will come on board to help with the fuel and tire bill. It will be a great opportunity to give a "local boy" a chance to keep running with the big dogs! I would love to stay here in BG to race figure 8 but the IOFS has brought something new and exciting to the table. Had the IOFS not been formed, I do not know if I or some of the others would have the chance to run at some of these other figure 8 tracks, experience something new and gain some exposure. So, I hope that many of my fans and sponsors that has been with me throughout the years at BBR will continue to give their support as I make my attempt to finish well in the IOFS points standings. If there is anyone that is willing to help out, I certainly would appreciate it. If interested, they can contact me or Angie for additional details. I'm not asking for much...just a little help. Again, thanks to all that helped me out at KMS and to everyone that showed up in the stands. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Hope to see yall at some of the other events as well! (Oh, and Odell, the pictures turned out great! I wouldn't worry about the quality...they are fine. Angie has a list a mile long she'll be ordering soon, lol. Keep up the good work)! Doodle NOTE: THIS WAS SENT TO ME VIA EMAIL FROM DOODLE.

POSTED 5-6-09 EMAIL FROM BOBBIE AND JOEY STANCIL

NOTE THIS IS AN EMAIL FROM BOBBIE STANCIL: We accept the apologize and ask that all the fans, drivers, employees, and anyone else that was at BBR the night this happen to accept the apologize and let racing be racing again. We ask all drivers to think before you act when a racing incident happens on the track. There are always two sides to everything. It is better off to talk to someone you have a grudge with then to take a car and hit them. No matter what the out come of the talk is. Another thing to get out of this is to not listen to hear say. If someone comes and says that a driver said this and that please go and confront the person. We have been through enough over this hold ordeal and like Anthony said it has hurt a lot of people. So please everyone from BBR lets let it drop and go on with our lives. Joey and I will not make any more comments on this subject and we are going on with our live. We will be at BBR when we get ready to come out and watch a race. Other than that we will be going to other tracks to watch racing. Thanks again for all the support we have gotten through all the years we have been racing and photography work at BBR.

POSTED 1-29-09 EMAIL TO BE POSTED

Hi Odell, On Feb. 3rd at 7:00 p.m. (cst), Doodle will be doing a Q&A segment called "Meet the Drivers" on www.race8.com. I would like to invite everyone to go to that website to register as a member so they can join in on the segment. The registeration process is very simple. You will just need to come up with a username and password and then be sure to sign in on the night of the segment in order to be able to post questions for Doodle. As far as I know, Doodle is the only one from Bowling Green at this point to be invited to do the segment. Most of the drivers that have been featured on there have been from the Louisville, Jeffersonville and Indy areas. This site covers many forms of racing but the main focus is figure 8 racing and figure 8 drivers. I hope that everyone that can will join in that night. Hopefully, Doodle can spark someone's interest from that area and/or here and pick up some much needed sponsors for the 2009 season so he can finish up his Extreme Winged Figure 8 car. Thanks in advance for your help and cooperation. Angie Dickens

POSTED 5-11-08 EMAIL FROM BO MILLER FAN

How are they gonna disqualify Bo Miller over him being too low if Dallis jones would hire a new tech then we could prevent favoritism toward Josh burns and the 3 car in the open wheel divison that is his car and a tech shouldnt be allowed to be a tech and have a car there too.. Bo was not low if he was low then he should have been low last time he raced anyways And bobby whites attitude last night caused the 14 car his sponser. And the car wouldnt have been low if he wouldnt have stuck the stick all the way under the car and started jiggling it back and fourth b/c He hit the oil pan the first time and then tried it again and turned it sideways i mean what is the truth of bobby white that it was all set up so that josh burns would win the race because he was driving bobby's open wheel how ironic is the 1st and 2nd place cars we disqualifyed for the same thing and the 3rd place car was just fine.. I mean come on odell u tell me that. i know u may not have the answers but please post this so we can get some comments maybe someone else can voice their opinion on that. Thank You Edith _____________________________________________________________________ THANKS FOR YOUR EMAIL EDITH. ODELL

POSTED 4-9-08 EMAIL FROM SOMKIN' JOE

Odell, Bo's car looked fast and was fast. I had him in the low 16's on my handheld stopwatch. He needs to be back on his game this year. There are some FAST cars coming to good ole BBRP just to try and knock Bo off the top of the heap. Gary Summers has a screamin' demon of a Ford ready to go with Kevin Lamastus set to wheel it. The Summers Open Wheel is bad too. It should be fast considering what it has under the hood.To all the racers, I can't wait for Friday night. If I don't get my roundy-round fix pretty soon I'm gonna blow a gasket.Ford vs. Chevy is one thing, but there MIGHT be a Toyota Late Model appearing here this year. I got a call from a driver I can't name yet who has a factory deal with Toyota for 2008. Right now they're building the motors, and he will mostly run dirt, but he's heard about Bo and some of our other guys and might decide to make a stop at BBRP later in the summer. The dirt cars will debut in May and they'll have their pavement super late done by June. I sent him email and told him that anyone driving a Toyota powered and sponsored car on dirt bullrings and tracks like Beech Bend and Highland Rim better have good insurance. Later, Smokin Joe
