Allison Legacy Series Schedule Two Races at ‘The Rock’ FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Charles Hudson 910-205-8800 ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (January 15, 2009) – The Allison Legacy Series will race at the Rockingham Speedway two different times – at two different tracks during the 2009 race season. The first race for the three-quarter sized stock car series will be on the .625 road course configuration that uses the infield and part of the one-mile speedway. The race will be 35 laps and is scheduled for February 28th with an open practice session the week before on February 21st. Fans can watch the open practice and the race for free from ‘Thunder Alley’ – the best viewing area for the infield road course. Fans can also purchase garage pass to get a close-up view of the action from the garage area for the race. The second race for the series will be contested on the new ‘Little Rock’ speedway – the .5 mile track newly built at the completion of 2008 at the Rockingham Speedway. The race at Little Rock is on September 26th. “I am very happy that the Allison Legacy cars are going to be racing at Rockingham both at the half mile and the road course," said NASCAR legend Donnie Allison. “Rockingham was one of my favorite tracks and I won my first 500 mile Cup race there. I am very happy to see the facility used for this type of racing” Among the drivers that have used the Allison Legacy Series to advance their driving careers are: Brian Vickers, David Ragan, Jon Wood, Regan Smith, Eric Darnell, Kelly Bires and Joey Logano.
