The skies finally cleared up. We had 21 cars on hand, with 20 cars qualifying. Sammy Sanders gets the ARP Bodies fast time award with a 15:61. Michael Driskell was 2nd, Kevin Willis 3rd, Chad Willis 4th, Davey Coble 5th and Ricky Sanford 6th. Kevin Willis starts from the pole after a top 6 redraw, with Coble on the outside pole. Davey gets the jump on Kevin at the start and leads till lap 4. Then a caution for the 16 car of Austin Brawley setting sideways on the backstretch. On the restart Coble leads with K. Willis 2nd, Sanders 3rd, Driskell 4th, Sanford 5th and Rookie of the Year contender Mason Mingus 6th.Yellow is out for Kevin Willis's blown motor on lap 6, while he was running 3rd. Dustin Arms heads to the pits for some service. Coble leads, Sanders 2nd, Driskell 3rd, Sanford 4th, C. Willis 5th and Mingus 6th.Lap 12 we have a new leader, Michael Driskell with Coble 2nd.Yellow is out on lap 14 for the cars of Austin Brawley, Dustin Arms, Martin Belcher and Gary Pedley in turn one pile up.On lap 15 restart, another caution for Ricky Sanford sliding down the backstretch. Sandford has no damage and starts on the tail.The 18th lap we have a new leader, Sammy Sanders with Driskell in 2nd.On lap 22 caution for the spinning car of Gary Pedley. No damage and Pedley picks up the tail, Sanders leads, Driskell 2nd, Coble 3rd, C. Willis 4th and Mingus 5th.Lap 27 caution for Eric Centers spin in turn two, he parks for the night.Caution is out on lap 36 for a fire bottle from Austin Brawleys car. Sanders leads, Driskell 2nd, Coble 3rd, Rookie contenders Josh Brock 4th and Mingus 5th, Josh Byrns 6th.Halfway flags, Sanders 1st, Driskell 2nd, Coble 3rd, Brock 4th, Mingus 5th and C. Willis 6th. Dustin Arms and Marty Taylor have already parked their cars.Caution on lap 53 for Gary Pedley and Marty Belcher spin, 15 cars on the track.Lap 79 caution is out for Gary Pedley getting into Hunter Willis in turns 1 and 2. Both cars have no damage and to the tail.Caution lap 88 for the spinning car of Mason Mingus. Mingus may have had some help! Sanders is leading, Driskell 2nd, Coble 3rd, Brock 4th, C. Wills 5th and Ricky Sanford up to 6th.Lap 90 caution for the car of Austin Brawley spinning into the infield off of turn 4. Sanders leading, Driskell 2nd, Coble 3rd, C. Willis 4th, Sanford 5th and Brock 6th. With 10 to go single file restart.Caution flies again for Chad Willis on lap 92. man if this was whats in store for beech bend it should be one of the best reces in years its good to see a local boy bring it back to bowling green but one to watch in all of them will be ricky sanford in the 0 car if that davey kid #14 if he wouldnt have dumped oh sanford sammy would had his hands full i think so but thats racing good job sammy
