Has Soggy Bottom Speedway Closed?

I was told that they have shut down the track.  However, looking at their site it shows the track closed until after the weekend of 7-31-10 then back with racing.  Can someone with more facts post comments under this story.  If you have the facts, please put your name to the comment. Thanks.

I heard this past week that it was shut down. Probably because or low car count. They stopped running late models about a month ago. Get your dirt racing fix Sat. night, July 10 at Bardstown. $5000.00 to win for late models.

More an likely the Mini stocks can run with the Beech bend Front Runners and the Cruisers and Rusty Bolts can run with the Beech Bend Modified Street cars. I did see on Soggy Bottom's Facebook page a few weeks back that they are shutting down due to legal loopholes brought on by the previous owner. I'm guessing also after the flooding of that track much like Beech Bend and Fairground Speedway experienced.

It didn't flood, and they think they will be open in August.
