Bobby Hamilton Jr. gets call for RWR #6 truck for select races.

Rick Ware Racing’s number six truck in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will see a familiar face behind the wheel at Pocono for fans of the series. Bobby Hamilton Jr. will pilot the number six truck for the Inaugural Pocono Mountains 125 at Pocono Raceway on July 31st.

“We have been working really hard to put together the funding and the complete package to get Bobby in our trucks. For months we have been trying to put a handful of races together to get Bobby Jr. back in a truck for us and really spotlight how good our little team can be,” stated Owner Rick Ware.

“After looking hard at our schedule and where we think we have the strongest effort we are happy with the schedule.”

Hamilton Jr. will behind the wheel at Pocono, a track where he has experience and success. Several other races are being discussed.

“We have come a long way in just five months. We dabbled in a few races, late last year in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Since then we have watched drivers like Brett Butler improve each week, and having a teammate like Bobby will help Brett’s progress,” Ware continued.

Action begins for the Pocono Mountains 125 at Pocono Raceway with a unique qualifying session at 10:00am on Saturday with the race beginning at 1:00.
