TWIN 25'S AT PLYMOUTH; 50 LAPPER AT ANDERSON


Indianapolis, IN - July 1, 2010 - The International Outlaw Figure 8 Series (IOFS) is planning for one of the biggest weekends of the year for the series. The weekend will feature a double header weekend at Plymouth and Anderson Speedway's Saturday and Sunday night respectively.
The weekend begins Saturday night at Plymouth Speedway with a huge night planned with twin 25 lap features. The night will be capped with a huge fireworks display at the end of the night. This will be the second time in series history that twin 25 lap features have been attempted. The format was unveiled at Columbus on June 12 and drew positive reviews. To date no track on the IOFS schedule with the exception of Anderson Speedway has held more IOFS events than Plymouth Speedway.
The next night, July 4th, the series will return to the unofficial home track of the series Anderson Speedway. A huge night of all Figure 8 racing is planned as part of the annual ' Figure 8 Madness '. The program will feature School Bus, FWD's, Stocks, and Trailer races all on the Figure 8 capped off with one of the biggest fireworks displays in the area. Pit gates open at 4 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m.
This weekend's double header will conclude the busiest stretch for teams on the 2010 IOFS schedule. The series has competed the last three weekends in a row. 2009 National Champion, Doug Greig, emerged the new IOFS point leader after his third place effort at Salem on June 27.
