In 2011 Phillip Akin shown here holding the checker flag will not race in the sportsman class at Beech Bend Raceway Park. Instead, Greg Meredith shown here second from the rear will be driving. Phillip has bought a Frank Kimmel Series car from Jay Parrish. Phillip will race in the Frank Kimmel Series at tracks such as Salem Speedway, Bristol, Charlotte and more.
