POSTED 12-22-08 WE HAVE A DEATH IN OUR FAMILY
My wife's aunt passed away tonight. Roxie Duke, 84 of Bowling Green passed away at Hospice of Southern Kentucky around 7:00 p.m. tonight. We will miss her very much, but also know that she is in a much better place tonight. We would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. Thanks to the fine folks at Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Also, thanks to all our friends for your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you to the Medical Center and also a big Thank you to Hospice for being so kind and making the family feel as comfortable as possible. I love you Roxie more than words can say, and I know you are in a better place now. We never left each other without saying how much we loved one another. You would always tell me, "Bushel, peck, and a hug around the neck." I know you are watching over me and I am so thankful to have had you in my life. Even though you are gone physically, I know you are still with me and I will always remember the wonderful times that we have had together! I love you so much!
I know this has been extremely difficult for you guys but remember that Roxie is now resting peacefully now. I want you to know that if there is anything I can do- I am here for you always! I love you guys. I will be thinking of you and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
