POSTED 4-18-10 SWAP MEET AT BEECH BEND RACEWAY

The swap meet at Beech Bend Raceway Park on Saturday 4-17-10 was a lot of fun.   The top photo shows Bobby White (second to the right) at his table trying to sell something.  Margaret and I also had a spot set up and I sold 13 bicycles and one scooter.  The photo on the bottom shows Margaret riding Angie Dickens (rear) on my two seat bicycle.  The crowd was small and not a lot of vendors.  But I have a great day of selling and talked to Bobby and he had a couple good sales.

Gates open 10:00 A.M.

Drag Races 12:00-5:00

Bring it all whatever you have that you want to get rid of cars, trailers, parts, furniture, clothes, lawnmowers, junk, even livestock. One man's junk is another man's treasure there is no set up fee only a $5 dollar admission charge per person this will all take place during the Saturday drags so start gathering up your stuff and turn into cash.

The Beech Bend Raceway Racers 1st Annual Swap Meet turns out good for all the rain and cold weather along with gusting winds. I even sold a set of ramps for a car trailer. More photos and stories later.
