POSTED 5-4-09 COMING TO BEECH BEND RACEWAY PARK THIS FRIDAY NIGHT!

Ken Ten Late Model Race Friday May 8th!!!!!! Ken-Ten Series 2nd race May 8th Beech Bend Twin 50's: Gates will open at 2:00 for a 3 hour late model practice. You guys will pull in the main gate, pay for the night ($25.00). Dallas has transponders (no scorers). After you pay, go to the backside of the press box and give them your driver's license. They will hold your license till the end of the night, that way you're not paying rental on the transponder! You will get a tech card to be filled out and returned at the scales, while you're at the scales weight your car! Beech Bend track rules, you'll enter the track from the drag staging lanes (turn 4). You will practice and when you're done pull to the infield off of turn 2 and head to the center of the track. On the backstretch, there's an opening to exit. PLEASE don't pull off the track, unless you're sure there are no cars coming down the backstretch. I've seen some cars junked by pulling off and cars are coming full bore down the backstretch!!! PLEASE be careful here!! Dallas will be locking in the top 20 from qualifying. He'll run a B feature (25 laps) taking the top 4 from there and add 2 from top 15 in Ken-Ten Series points not making the feature for a 24-26 car feature. This will be run the first race of the night. Guys not making the A will get $125.00 and will be on standby to start the 2nd 50 lapper from the tail to make sure we have a 24 car field for it. Each 50 lap feature will pay $750.00 to win, $400.00 for 2nd with Miller Lite decal and $125.00 to start! This will be a 4 tire night, with two scuffs to be marked and put on if needed (flats only). YELLOW flag laps do not count!!!!! Spotterville will be on the back side of the drag tower top or bottom level. The races go a lot smoother if you're in the spotter's stand! There will be no cone rule here, we will have to have double file restarts though. Tuesday nights Dallas has an open test for $5.00 a head, or just come on out and race on a Friday night. BE SURE TO CHECK HIS SCHEDULE!!! We will have a drivers meeting at 5:30 at the drag tower to hand out contingency awards. Guys, make up a 2 by 4 angle 5 inches long to mount his transponders. They will mount on RS rail and silver tag MUST point down and lights toward front of car! Predrill two holes on the 2" side and mount at the track, bring drill and rivets!!! Points will be awarded on both races, contingency awards only on the first 50 lapper.
