good job doodle and all the other drivers and to the hargraves we support you all the way, but please this was the worst race i have ever seen, KMS IS NO FIGURE 8TRACK, I APPLAUDE ALL THE DRIVERS YOU DID WHAT YOU COULD AND THANKFULLY NO ONE WAS HURT. ME AND THE OTHER 6 PEOPLE THAT WAS WITH ME , WE LEFT AFTER THE FIGURE 8 RACE BECOUSE WE WAS STARVING. THERE WAS NO FOOD OR DRINK THE CONCESSION STANDS WAS CLOSED UP NO FOOD OR DRINK,,, I REALLY DO THANK THE GREERS FOR OPENING UP A RECE TRACK, MOST PEOPLE WOULD SAY THAIR NUTS IN THIS DAY AND TIME, BUT THERE NEEDS TO BE SOMETHING DONE BEFORE THE NEXT RACE THIS YEAR IF NOT I KNOW I WONT BE BACK AND I HAVE ALREADY HEARS MORE THAN 3 DRIVERS SAY THE SAME SO GOOD LUCK
i went up there for november race and took my nephew cause we knew all the racers from bowling green going and theres was brawls in every class the sportsman was the worst im going for the big late model race but thats bout it for that i know them guys wont fight like that but fighting over stupid stuff is what they was doing and you know its bad when the officals were fight that set a good example and can someone tell me is the figure 8 the same as the first race i heard they was godd redo it i dont look for beech bend to hold its date with them guys
I have to disagree with the first post on this being the "worst race" I have been to. I have seen a lot worse. Well, think about it, BBR only had 3 figure 8 cars the first night of racing and now we have NONE! That race and a few from last year would have to rank as the worst I have seen. I give mad props to all the IOFS drivers and the effort put forth to provide the fans something exciting. Keep in mind that most of these guys have not ever been on this track before, it was flooded in the previous weeks leading up to this race and there has not been any cars on the figure 8 in many years. KMS may not be the best figure 8 track in the area but one thing that is certain...it's different and different can be good! I did hear some of the drivers complain but very little. All in all, they like the fact that the track is very different from all of the others. Just give it time, the IOFS will only pick up speed with each race it runs...it's a brand new series! As time goes on, things will improve. The thing is, Charlie has worked his tail off to get this going and I think he has done a heck of a job. I also appreciate Scott for allowing IOFS to come to KMS. As far as the food and drinks go, maybe Scott did not expect to have the turn out he did. Did you not notice that grandstands and the pits were packed with people?! I'm sure next time, he will plan much more accordingly. This isn't the first track I have been to that ran out of food and drinks. Heck, I was at Daytona and they ran out of stuff as well. That's gonna happen but can be corrected next time. You learn from and build on mistakes made. Just be patient and give it time. Going onto the second comment that states about the fighting that took place at KMS during November...well, what track does not have fights? I believe that Scott will take hold of that situation as soon as it takes place. There were not any incidents Sunday and I seen a lot of cars, expensive cars, get tore up. I don't know your reasoning for stating that you think Dallas will not keep the IOFS date but all I can say is if he does not, HE'S CRAZY!!!! It's been a long time since something like the IOFS has hit BBR. If Dallas wants to put BBR's figure 8 racing back on the map...he better keep the date for the IOFS. These guys will love the track and facility...I promise. Why wouldn't they? BBR is the greatest facility within 200 miles of BG! If they are treated as they were at KMS, I'm sure they will return.
When the IOFS cats come 2BBR the racing will b alot better,doodle doesnt have the car those cats have but he will have the advantage that they wont and that is he has made lots of laps at BBR and that makes a ton of difference.W/a little luck i 4 1 like his chances for a top 3 finish on the lead lap!
