POSTED 5-31-09 CURTIS BUTLER AND TERRY GILL, JR. INCIDENT
Hey, folks I didn't see how this started. However, when I looked up the cars were fighting hard hitting each other. I will say from turn one in which I was standing it looked more like Curtis was more the aggressor. I have also been contacted by several different people about this race. I didn't know this and still don't know for sure but have had calls and emails that Curtis and Terry had words in the pits and that Curtis hit Terry and knocked Terry to the ground. Everyone that contacted me said that Curtis started the fight and that Terry after being knocked to the ground walked away. Again remember , this story is hear say. I did hear security being called to the 8c car. Hey guys this kind of action needs to STOP!

i aint taking nobody side on this one but curtis has got a car that if he started on pole could prolly come close lapping almost everyone so really curtis knows what was gonna happen when he caught terry but curtis did pass him clean and terry just drove it in there and tried to bank off of him i think i would have done the same thing curtis done...curtis's car is so small that car could flip very easy the drivers that have the plan of still wrecking curtis trying to keep him from winning remember that you could very easy hurt him well look that the same type car cut in half in the figure 8 just drivers keep that in mind
no no no, terry started everything, at the last lap he decided to turn into curtis, then curtis retaliated, which probably wasn't the best thing to do.
after the race i heard terry say that curtis hit him in the stomach in the pits, and that's what the fight was that everyone was talking about.
Terry came to 8c pit area and got what he deserved he came down to fight but after they got started he found out real quick that,that was a bad idea 8c stood his ground and gave that boy what he deserved plan and simple,that boy will think twice about coming to another mans pit area!

this is for the last comment u must b one of those cars that r getting lapped or finishing in the back every week!quit ur hatin and start workin on your car and learn how to drive also theres not an age limit on how old you can b to run in the front runners class!go gettem BUTLER!!!!!!!!!!
curtis can drive the wheels off his little car. all terry can do is try to knock them off.but i bet he dont come down to curtis's pits no more............
as someone mentioned the little boy would not go into curtis butler pit again well someone told me a couple of years ago curtis almost got whipped in the pits by doodle and he ran like a scared chicken so maybe all he can fight is little boys
Come on guys STOP Terry is a good kid with a baby on the way, he is a young kid and he was going to the pit area to tell cutis good race and Curtis hit him and Terry did walk away after security had to mace curtis so who is at fault here? Terry was not Mased Curtis was Act as if you got some racing skills Run with the Big Dogs Curtis not the Kids....
8c is a good driver with skills y does he have to change divisions? is that so you can when? and i was standing at the consession stand and terry came to fight,but like someone already said after he got started he didnt like it.
HEY, CURTIS!!! Do us all a favor and grow the he!! up, will ya?! Terry did not do anything to you that you haven't done to anyone else. (Terry was even willing to apoligize and shake your hand but instead of shaking his hand. You pretended you were going to do the same but instead you hit him). Some "MAN" you are. I've always been taught that every dog has their day and it just looks as if your's was Friday night. Oh, more more thing. What does the fwd class pay to win anyway? Just what I thought...nowhere near what it would have cost IF you would have really hurt Terry or even worse, killed him. $20 or $25 really won't go far...
As far as the statment goes about everyone needs to keep in mind that these cars can flip and/or it is easy to get hurt in them...Well, I believe that comment needs to be address towards Dallas. This class and the fwd f8 class needs more safety requirements. But then again, what will make it more safe? Curtis just isn't the one that could have gotten hurt...Terry could have too. Anyone out there could have...anyone in any of the divisions could have...remember, this is "RACING".

If curtis was such a good driver why doesn't he build his own car. All he can do is drive a car that is already built. And i thought it was ok to bump someone that's all terry did was bump him. And if curtis is so awesome why did he sucker punch terry. He went to shake terry's hand then when terry reached down curtis hit him. All i can say is what goes around comes around. If i was terry i would have done the same thing.

this is terry im hear to clear all this up i got him loose to win my first race he wants to get mad over 10 dollars and trophy wow then he tried spinning me into the wall head on lucky i saved it i went and was going to ask him what the heck was his problem and he said im sry and stuck his hand out and sucker punched me and i didnt fall to the ground we both fell and he got behind me thats it i was not intending on fighting i mean i broke my back 9months ago and had pins in my hand he is dirty and lucky im not healthy

it is curtis way or nobod=ies wat he has always been a winnie baby and he did run from doodle so curtis get you a bigger car then you become a man not a boy quit pickin on kids
thw committee fer competition and ethics says matt is ok at least he is attempting to move up unlike anthony and curtis and he does not bring a high dollar car to win a small dollar race make bbr proud
did not happen in 8c pit.was on the main lanr in front of all ken-ten cars.unless you wre using the main road in the pits to park and work on you willis junk.

This is my first year in a big car i didn't plan on being fast. Expecially when im running a 355 with i 4412 two barrel that me and my dad built in our shop. And anyone can drive a front runner when i first started driving a front runner i sucked just as bad as i do now. It takes a lot of work to get the car fast and yes it is mike masons old car. But i have changed the motor trans springs sway bar etc. We wasn't even building this car to run at beech bend we are building it to run at kms where they pay better to win. But all i can say is i don't care what yal think atleast im trying to move up and get a car with more than 100 horse power. And if all of yal are such good drivers why don't yal race. We need the car count up.

So all of these immature people leaving comments about other drivers need to grow up QUITE A BIT. This is between Terry & Curtis. It has nothing to do with matthew, doodle, JR. Henson, Mike Mason, or any other driver. It just shows the lengths 'yall people' will go through in order to keep the crap stirring.

matt not to be rude but kms might pay better but you better watch your back up there and drive nice cause them guys up there dont car to tear a car up i went up there with some ppl to watch the ken-ten deal and in every class there was at least 2 wrecks sportsman is bad having 7 cars and 3 finsh but i see you getting fast down the road you taking the right steps no body goes from a big car and be fast right off the bad its a total feel its like walking again but man good luck with getting better at it
HEY EVERYBODY,just remember its all for fun.ive been down that getting even road and it never comes out good.it's hard to tell somebody not to do something when they're mad,i'm proof.what happened between me and tony peak was terrible and i regret that to this day.alot of people didnt see me crying later that evening when i realized he could have been killed.even tho i did it legal in the figure 8,it still was intentional.both terry and curtis are good guys,and should put this to rest before anybody gets hurt.what we dont need is other people jumping on here and agging it on.and while we are on this subject,to the young driver of the #19 car in the figure 8,ive given you breaks in the middle before and didnt mean to spin you out during the race but you were a lap down and cut me off while i was chasing the leaders.so if that happens again please dont ram me in the butt after the race,just come talk to me,that richard petty blue house paint aint cheap.ON THE OTHER HAND HOPEFULLY I'LL HAVE THE DINO KING CAR BACK ON TRACK THIS FRIDAY AND BEAT BOTH YOU SUCKERS.HAHAHA #43 rick
