POSTED 3-30-09 BOWLING GREEN RACER GETS A SHOT AT NASCAR'S TRUCK SERIES
Persistent rain forced postponement of Saturday's Kroger 250 Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway. The race will be ran today at 11:00 a.m. (CST). Local Bowling Green racer will make his debut in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series today. Bowling Green, Kentucky driver Dillion Oliver qualified 35th and will start the race for his first time ever in the big leagues. Other local drivers that have raced in the NASCAR series are, the late Bobby Hamilton, Sr., Bobby Hamilton, Jr., both from Nashville, TN., Jeremy Mayfield, Darrell Waltrip, Michael Waltrip, Mark Green, David Green, Jeff Green all from Owensboro, KY., Brian Rose, Sammy Sanders, Stewart Kirby from Bowling Green, KY. And now we can add Dillion Oliver to that list. Good Luck Dillion!
