- The International Outlaw Figure 8 Series ( IOFS ) is proud to
announce that again in 2010 authorized AMSOIL dealer, Elmer Schaeffer,
will continue to support the IOFS. Schaeffer will again sponsor the '
Hard Charger Award ' which goes to the driver who advances the most
positions during each IOFS Outlaw Figure 8 feature event in 2010.
The Piqua, Ohio Filtration and Lubrication specialist and owner of the Ohio based Zoil Racing, has been involved in motorsports for several years. As an authorized AMSOIL dealer,
Schaeffer sponsored several different types of auto racing series
in 2009. In addition to the IOFS, Schaeffer sponsored the 2009 Main
Event Racing Series ' Hard Charger Award '. Schaeffer also sponsored up
and coming driver Drew Charlson in Main Event Racing Series and ARCA
events last season.
Schaeffe's Zoil Racing lubrication business has been around for
over twenty years featuring a wide variety of AMSOIL lubrication
products. AMSOIL is one of the leading choices of
everyday lubrication and the first choice for many short track racers
across the country. AMSOIL carries products virtually every type of oil
ranging from: motor, diesel, motorcycle, and power sports oils. In
addition AMSOIL carries gear lubes, transmission fluid, hydraulic and
compressor oils.
IOFS Managing Partner, David Sink, expressed his excitement of
having Scheaffer involved with the IOFS for a second year. " I think
its neat that Mr. Scheaffer helps out short track racers in our area "
explained Sink. " I know Mr. Scheaffer does a lot in the central Ohio
area so hopefully we will be able to continue to get him some exposure
in some of the other areas we travel to this year and we also have
three races in his area " continued Sink. " AMSOIL does a good job of
promoting their product to the short track racer with several
authorized dealers such as Mr. Scheaffer all across the country. AMSOIL
will have a big presence within the short track community this season
with series such as the IOFS as well as national touring series
including the United States Auto Club National Sprint Car Series "
concluded Sink."
AMSOIL, the leader in automotive synthetic lubrication, produced
the world’s first API-qualified synthetic motor oil in 1972. For AMSOIL

The IOFS season opener is less than two weeks away and officials
are preparing for the IOFS Outlaw and Front Wheel Drive double header
at Anderson Speedway April 10. It will be the first points race
for both divisions for 2010. Officials are also hopeful the full IOFS
Front Wheel Drive schedule can be released in the next few days.
Officials indicated the late release of the Front Wheel Drive schedule
is due to the fact that several of the dates are fair dates and
negotiations with fair boards typically start later than normal short
track negotiations. For more info on the IOFS please log onto the new
look IOFS site at: www.iofsracing.com
