As seen here in these photos, Chuck Barnes, Sr. takes the win at Salem Speedway in the Halloween 200 on Sunday 26, 2008. The radio station was shown here in victory circle doing the post race interview with Chuck. Brian Bayer #99 ran a hard charging second for most of the closing laps, but got caught up in some traffic and lost that spot to Brain Hopkins #95. Bayer finishes fifth with Hopkins taking second. The Bowling Green guys didn't fair as well. Richard "Doodle" Dickens #85 started 45th and was caught up in a wreck, not of his fault. It pretty much stopped his chance to finish up front. Doodle did get his crew to repair his car enough to run laps at a slower pace. Dickens did manage to take the checker flag. Kevin LaMastus #29 didn't fair very good as well. Kevin started 61st and was moving up but on lap 33 blew an engine. As a photographer and blogger from Bowling Green, KY. I was very proud of the effort of both Bowling Green guys. Maybe next year?
