POSTED 10-7-08 DOODLE NEEDS HELP FOR THE WORLD 300 FIGURE-8 RACE
Odell,
I know that you have been busy but please post that Doodle will be attempting to make the World 300 in Jeffersonville, In. this weekend. We are looking for anyone that might be willing to sponsor Doodle for this race. We also would like anyone that is willing to go help "pit" the car to contact Doodle. Doodle is really excited about trying to make this race and looking forward to it. This will be the biggest race that he will attempt to run in. Salem was an awesome experience and he enjoyed it but this will be 600 times through the crossing with 33 (this is the # of drivers registered at this point) other cars. There is a possibility of 10 or more signing up at a later date. If there is anyone that loves figure 8 racing, they should come up and check it out as this is gonna be a heck of a race! Not to mention, they should come support thier hometown driver!

2008 Figure 8 World 300
Fri. Oct. 10th & Sat. Oct. 11th Races start at 7 pm & Front gates open at 5 pm. Rain Date: Sunday October 12th Pits open at 10 am – Racing at 2 pm. FREE PARKING!!
Ticket Prices- $15 adults, $10 teens (13-19,) $5 kids 12 and under.
Friday, October 10th 2008 Figure 8
World 300 Practice. Plus Dromers and FWDs.
12 noon: Pits open.
1 pm-4 pm: Figure 8 World 300 practice.
4-4:45 pm: Dromer oval & FWD practice.
4:45-5:15 pm: Figure 8 World 300 last chance for practice.
5:15-6:45 pm: Figure 8 World 300 Qualifying.
7 pm: First race Dromer & FWD Heats
Saturday, October 11th 2008-
2 pm: Pit gate opens.
3-6 pm: Figure 8 World 300 practice.
6:15 pm: Pre race meeting.
7 pm: Cars and Crews to the track. 7:30 pm: Introduction of drivers 7:50 pm: National Anthem
8 pm: ‘Start your engines’
8:05 pm: Figure 8 World 300 begins.

I just want to say Good Luck, Doodle. I think it is great that you are gonna give this a try! Just remember...whatever happens- happens. At least you gave it your best shot. I believe in you and am extremely proud of you! I love you...
