POSTED 2-16-08 EMAIL FROM ANGIE DICKENS ABOUT THE SHOOTING AT NIU

This is a bit of non-racing news but please remind everyone to keep the victims of the NIU shooting in their prayers. That tragedy hits a little close to home for me. My aunt is the secretary to John Peters (NIU's president) and was only yards from the shooter. This is just a glimpse of what CAN happen...we should not take each day for granted. At times what we think is important really isn't. It is a real uneasy feeling see what events took place on the tv and then not being able to contact you loved ones. I could only imagine what the parents are going through. I am sure they could use our prayers. Thank you, Ang85 (Angie Dickens)
