Greathouse Motorsports set a new 275 drag radial record for the quickest and fastest pass in history

By Justin McChesney -  At the ORTC “Lights Out 3” Race at South Georgia Motorsports Park, Greathouse Motorsports set a new 275 drag radial record for the quickest and fastest pass in history. In round 3 qualifying, Joel Greathouse in his 1990 silver Fox Mustang posted a 4.565 at 162.47 in the eighth mile. It was accomplished on the newly released Mickey Thompson 275 drag radial. The car is powered by a Bennett Racing 434” small block Ford with a 98mm Precision Turbo with an 88mm reducer. The pass was also a record for any single turbo vehicle on any size drag radial.
