Hey, this is good. Maybe we will have some more people on here commenting now. Thanks, Odell!
why is there not a place to vote on the open wheels. Is there not going to be a ow champion? I know that the car count was not what they wanted but they had as many cars as sportsman most the times. I thought that santa fe put up point money. I guess the guys who built cars and the ones who came from nashville really think they got the short end of the stick. How do you build a division if you never promote It.I think your web site that had people vote showed how much they liked the cars. But I guess the track didn't look at the poll.
I noticed that on the voting ballot for the banquet that there was not a spot for the Open Wheel or the American Bomber classes. I know that the Open Wheel class was cut out about mid season and the American Bombers didn't have many cars but each class did have some drivers that were putting forth an effort!! I guess because the car count was not as the track would have liked in those divisions that the drivers that did attend weekly, spent money to get in, spent money on the drive to and from the track and spent money on thier cars are just going to be forgotten?! This is not fair to those drivers, crew members or sponsors that made the attempt to have a weekly showing. These drivers deserve recongition too. By Dallas not showing his appreciation and graditude to them, does he really expect any of them to return if we do get these classes back? Dallas, get your heart right and show these drivers some love! After all, isn't it the drivers that keep the racetrack going? Well, if so, this sure isn't the way they should be treated. As if the rumors about BBR aren't bad enough...here is one more thing for people to talk about.
I talked to Dallas today and he said that they didn't have the car count in the open wheel and didn't finish the season. And not enough car count in the all-american bomber class.

Ok, I understand this to the fullest but let me just throw something out there for others to ponder also. If the car count was his deciding factor, why did he continue to have the figure 8 class weekly? The most I seen on one night was 7, the rest of the nights only averaged 4 or 5 cars. Not much of a show there.
well... if things dont change a lot and very quickly racing at bbr is going to be a thing of the past........no one is showing up ....dallas loves drags more ...and quite frankly the rules arent fair... the track wont fix things and the thugs wont let the drivers fix things ... look at poor joey stancil ...what a ashame ...who would want to race like that...but i hope things change im a fan and used to love racing
UH OH HERE WE GO AGAIN WITH THE CRYIN
