POSTED 4-26-08 REPORT FROM STOCK CAR RACING AT BEECH BEND RACEWAY

Race fans! we finally got to have our stock car races. It was a wild night of racing at Beech Bend Raceway. We had a wild wreck in the Front Runner Figure-8, The winner of the late model class had his win taken away because he was protested by another race team and found illegal. We had been rained out the first two weeks and then we were not scheduled race the third week because of drags so this was week four and they were calling for rain again. The rain never came but we did have a small problem the lights went out on the track during late model qualifying and we were down for about 30 minutes. And we seen Kevin Dickens #96 get his first figure-8 win in the big car figure-8. Matt Melton also got his first win in the front runner figure-8. I will be posting more and some pictures later.
