This is Myrel's daughter, Myranda and i just wanted to let you know thatThis friday, September 21st is Marsha Melton's birthday.She used to be the photographer at Beech Bend until she passed away in August of 2001.But if could let the viewers of your website know that would be great.She is very well missed and i want to make sure that she isnt forgotten THIS IS ME (ODELL) IN THE RED AND ALL CAPITOL LETTERS, AND I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THIS TO MYRANDA'S EMAIL THAT SHE SENT ME. MYRANDA, I MISS YOUR MOM TOO! I WAS TRACK PHOTOGRAPHER AT BEECH BEND ALSO, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW UNTIL TONIGHT THAT MARSHA AND I SHARED THE SAME DATES FOR OUR BIRTHDAY 9-21. I FEEL VERY HONORED TO SHARE THAT DAY WITH HER. SO FOR YOU, MYRANDA, MATT AND MYREL WE ALL AT BEECH BEND RACEWAY WISH MARSHA A HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday Marsha, although you are not with us physically, I know you are watching over. Myranda, I am sure there is not a day that goes by that your Mom is up in heaven watching over you and your family. I know she is very proud to see how much her children have grown and how beautiful they are.
We all miss you Marsha,she was more than the track photographer / video recorder,,, she was a very nice friendly lady, that always had nice things to say ,, ,, and if u was at there house when they were having supper,,, She said get inside your eating too!,, i really miss her alot! she was always sneaking up on me at bbr to sell us all lucky bucky tickets,, SHE DID A GREAT JOB AT WHAT SHE DID,, AND I KNOW SHES WATCHING OVER HER YOUNGINS,,MERLS DOING A GREAT JOB RAISING HIS CHILDREN AS A SINGLE PARENT,, WE LUV YA AND MISS YOU MARSHA.

I know how much you all miss your mom but you know for a fact that she is always watching over you. She is so much in the both of you that she is always around. I miss her everyday and think about things we talked about when she was so bad. I will never forget her and I will always be here for the two of you. We are very proud to have a friend like your mom and I know for a fact that She was the best friend I ever had. Your mom and I had are ups and downs but we could always work through the down times. I would like to wish to you and Matthew a happy day on Friday and to Marsha I know she is having a very Happy Birthday looking down on her kids knowing that they are well taken care of. Love you both and I will always remember your mom because she is in my heart.

MYRANDA YOU KNOW YOUR MOM IS SO PROUD OF YOU AND MATTHEW. SHE IS ALWAYS LOOKING DOWN ON YOU BOTH AND HELPING TO LEAD YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. REMEMBER ALL THE GOOD TIMES AND BAD, BECAUSE THAT WILL MAKE YOU STRONG. SHE WAS A GOOD FRIEND AND SHE AND BOBBIE AND I HAD A LOT OF FUN AND GOOD TALKS.
