A second picture. Who is this KID racer? He race's at Beech Bend Raceway. Second clue is: His mother raced stock cars.
Hey folks, this is one tough stock car driver. And he drives a stock car at Beech Bend Raceway. Take a shot and guess who this little kid is? First Hint, He drove last year and was fast.

This is James Turner (My Dad) standing by his stock car back in the 60's. Look at his helmet it reads the number 47 and his car has #73. He must have gotten a good deal on a used helmet.
This is James Turner (my Dad) standing by his stock car at our house back in the day. Look at the milk truck to the right. My Dad worked at Borders Pure Milk Company. That truck was not that bad back then but it looks some old today, I think this photo is so cool.
This is my Dad's(James Turner's) stock car from back in the 60's. The picture was taken at our house where I was born and grew up at. If you click on this picture to my it larger then you can see a bike in the yard which was either mine or my little brother's.
This is stock car driver Edwin Keown from the 1966-67 race season at Beech Bend. Look at that wing on the roof of this car and NASCAR thought they were ahead of the game with the COT car and it's rear wing. If you can't see it, click on the picture to make it larger.
These guys raced at Beech Bend back in the 60's. From left to right are: Edwin Keown, Bobby Bunch, Porter Bush, P.W. Gammons and Irvin Leroy "Buck" Cherry.
This picture was given to a friend of mine by Buck's wife Glorianna Cherry Hawks. I was told the picture was taken July 4, 1968 just before he was killed in the figure-8 at Beech Bend. His name was Irvin Leroy "Buck" Cherry.
First let me say thanks to Brad Janes for sending me these pictures. This is the new paint job of Josh Byrns driver for Turn and Burn Motorsports late model at Beech Bend this 2008 season. From us here at this blog site we wish Turn and Burn Motorsports and Josh a wonderful 2008 season.
