I can't tell you the other driver. I can tell you that I and the other driver are very excited about this deal. Just a small hint. Yes it's true!!!! Before there was a BO! There was a Darrell. You didn't think Bo was just gifted or went to Buddy Bakers driver school do you? No, he got his talent from his Dad. Darrell Miller pictured here at Beech Bend Raceway in 1987 and was taken my me. So for you younger race fans, there was another Miller winning his share of races way back then, but not too far back because I was taking his picture and I am still a young man like Darrell. Right Darrell? Ha-Ha.

Two things here that I am very proud of. First and most important is my awesome wife Margaret, pictured here. She has been by my side for over 27 years. The next thing is this sportsman car that I had back in 1987. I won my first sportsman race in this car. If was fun to drive. I bought this car from Gary Spinks, it was the #5 car before. Fun, Fun Fun back in the days.

Joey is out of the hospital. They got his blood count back up but did not find out what was causing the problem. I will have more on this as I get it. Good luck Joey and our prayers and thoughts are with you and Bobbie. This was a email from Bobbie: GOT JOEY BACK HOME THIS MORNING. STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT CAUSE HIM TO LOSE BLOOD BUT HIS LIVER IS FINALLY PRODUCING BLOOD CELLS AND HIS BLOOD COUNT IS 9.6 SO THEY LET HIM GO HOME. I worked a route for R.C. Cola and Rick was working at A-1 Auto Salvage which was one of my stops. I made plans to race my first car(Twenty something years ago) at Highland Rim and Rick gave me an old bucket seat for my stock car. He was my first real sponsor. Bobbie and Joey Stancil announced their new sponsor for 2008. Joey will have on his hood in 2008 Motor City Bar & Grill 191 Cumberland Trace Road, Bowling Green, Ky. In April Bobbie and Joey will have their Beech Bend Race night at Motor City Bar & Grill on Thursday nights. POSTED 12-5-07 STOCK CAR RACER WADE JOHNSON PASSED AWAY TODAY

Today we race fans lost a very good friend and driver. At 5:50 a.m. this morning (12-5-07) Douglas Wade Johnson, 51 passed away at his residences. Wade as we called him, in my opinion was one of the best to ever driver a sportsman type stock car. Wade has won many race at Beech Bend and other track as well. Wade and his Dad (Morris) were truly my Friends. I will miss seeing wade at Beech Bend and that #42 although Billy Fields drove it most of the time here at the last. I pray that God's peace be with Morris and his wife during this difficult time. Wade RIP.

This is a old photo from back in July of 1968. This photo was taken at the home of car owner Bill Miller, home pictured in the back ground. This #56 car was built for driver Irvin Leroy "Buck" Cherry to drive in Indianapolis, IN. but Buck was killed in a figure-8 race at Beech Bend Raceway Park in July 1968 and never got to drive this car. The men in the picture had just came from Buck's funeral. They are back row left to right: Porter "Red" Bush, James Harrison, Larry Harrison, and Harry Jordan.
